4/7: Poet Doyle Walls at Forest Grove

Pacific University professor and published poet Doyle Walls will present a reading of his works on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Rogers Room of the Forest Grove Library.

Professor Walls enumerates some of the things "for which he has profound appreciation" as: enchiladas, blues guitarists, The Simpsons and the films of Ingmar Bergman, among others. In addition to readings of his poetry, he will discuss the creative process of being a poet. Copies of his book will be on sale following the presentation.

This program is part of the First Tuesday cultural events sponsored by the Friends' of the Library each year.

Forest Grove Library is located at 2114 Pacific Avenue, across the street from Pacific University. Convenient parking is located in back, and the library is a block and a half from a Trimet bus stop.
