Garden Home Community Library invites you to join craft artist Jodie Cord for a Beginning Embroidery class, Tuesday, June 16th at 7:00 p.m.
Embroidery is a simple inexpensive way to embellish and personalize clothing and accessories, make toys, art and wall hangings. In this class you will learn all the basic stitches you need to get started: the back stitch, the split stitch, the french knot and the blanket stitch. It is a great craft for anybody able to use a sharp needle. All the necessary supplies will be provided. Each student will have the opportunity to make a stitch sampler and a small felt book.
Please Register for this event online or by calling the library (503) 245-9932.
Garden Home Community Library is at 7475 SW Oleson Road, just north of Garden Home Rd.
