Libraries Lend a Hand in Tough Times

In these tough economic times, people are turning to libraries for everything from free internet access, job searching and computer classes to borrowing DVDs.

68% of Americans now have a library card, and 73 percent of libraries are the only source of free public access to computers and the Internet in their communities.
