Tigard Library Survey

The Tigard Public Library will invite feedback about library services in its annual survey. This year the survey will ask people to rank the importance of various library services. Visitors to the library from Sunday, Jan. 30, to Saturday, Feb.12, will be asked to fill out a paper survey.

The survey will also be available to take online from home or at the library at It will also be distributed through Cityscape, the City’s newsletter.

Library staff use survey responses to provide new services or revise existing services to make them more patron-friendly. Last year the Library received over 3,000 responses.

“We appreciate hearing both from library patrons and from those who have never used the library,” said Library Director Margaret Barnes. “If there are reasons people don’t use the library, we’d like to know what they are.”
