Reading Makes You Feel Good!

Throughout April the member libraries of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) will celebrate the joys of reading in observance of the National Month of the Young Child. The focus of the celebration is to reinforce the importance of early literacy skill development among young children - to prepare them to enter school ready to read and learn. Our member libraries offer an abundance of free and locally accessible resources to aid parents and child care providers as they introduce children to the joys of language development and reading.
