Cedar Mill is presenting three seminars for parents of children from birth to 5 on the latest research-based information about the skills children need to develop before they learn how to read.
Each seminar is focused on a specific age group with tips for choosing and sharing books and activities that best match that developmental stage:
- Parents of children birth to two: Wed., April 13, 6:30-8:30 pm
- Parents of children 2 & 3: Wed., April 20, 6:30-8:30 pm
- Parents of 4- & 5-year-olds: Mon. April 25, 6:30-8:30 pm
Early Literacy is what children know about reading and writing before they actually read or write.
All seminars will be held at Cedar Mill Community Library in the upstairs meeting room. Adults only please. No registration required. Questions? Call 503-644-0043 ext. 112.
