Kindle books by Penguin publishers in Library2Go

We were just made aware this afternoon that all ebooks published by Penguin are no longer available for Kindle lending in Library2Go.

Penguin ebooks are still available in EPUB and PDF formats - only Kindle availability has been pulled by the publisher.

Penguin says they pulled Kindle availability due to security concerns. From their statement - "[D]ue to new concerns about the security of our digital editions, we find it necessary to delay the availability of our new titles in the digital format while we resolve these concerns with our business partners."

If you had Penguin books in Kindle format on hold in Library2Go, they are no longer available. We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause. At this time we do not know if or when Penguin will restore access to Kindle lending for their titles, but we will keep you informed.

Here is how to tell who the publisher of a book is:

1. Click on the title of the book for its full record

2. Look for the publisher
