Unplug the Christmas machine at the Cedar Mill Library

Unplug the Christmas Machine! Participate in a free workshop to reinvent a joyful, less commercial Christmas on Sunday, December 4th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the Cedar Mill Library's Community Room.

Learn how to make this the warmest and most enchanting Christmas ever! Based on the work of Jo Robinson and Jean Coppock Staeheli, we'll share holiday traditions, complete worksheets, and brainstorm new approaches, helped along with laughter, fun and chocolate! The workshop is facilitated by Becky Lovejoy, a Cedar Mill staff member.

What did you most enjoy about the holidays? Bring back the magic by rethinking old habits, simplifying, creating new traditions, and balancing the material world with the spiritual one. Take the Holiday Pledge, laugh about the Ten Hidden Gift-Giving Rules, brainstorm how to find or make gifts without breaking the budget, and more.
