Cedar Mill Library Named Top Workplace

The Cedar Mill Library, a WCCLS member library, was recently honored by the Oregonian as one of the Top Workplaces in Oregon. The library ranked number 4 out of 40 small businesses recognized. The library was also given a separate award for being the top ranked organization for "Appreciation" meaning employees feel genuinely appreciated.

The recognition was based on a survey measuring qualities such as company leadership, training, workplace flexibility and diversity. The library shares this honor with 60 other Oregon companies ranging from the Portland Timbers, Stumptown Coffee, Black Butte Ranch and Umpqua Bank. A special insert in the Sunday, September 16 edition of the Oregonian provides more details.

You can't become a Top Workplace without having exceptional workers. This award honors all of the employees who choose to work at the Cedar Mill Library and deliver exceptional library service. Congratulations to Cedar Mill!
