Changes with Library2Go - good news for Nook tablet owners, changes to Adobe Digital Editions

For those of you who own a Nook tablet and check out Library2Go ebooks, we have some happy news for you! Barnes & Noble now has included the OverDrive Media Console app in their app store. This means that you can now check out and download EPUB ebooks and MP3 audiobooks directly to your tablet. We have more information and links to instructions here.

If you use Adobe Digital Editions to download Library2Go books to your computer, either for reading on your computer, or in order to transfer to an e-reader, like a Nook, Sony or Kobo, here's some information for you. Adobe Digital Editions has released a new version of the software. It's Adobe Digital Editions 2.0.

If you have already been using Adobe Digital Editions, you may not be prompted by the program to update to 2.0. However, both Adobe and OverDrive have said that they will no longer support the old version, so you may want to update. Most of the help information on WCCLS' Library2Go help pages now reflects the updated version of Adobe Digital Editions.

If you choose to install Adobe Digital Editions 2.0, you'll find links to instructions and important information on our help pages here.

Happy downloading!
